About Us
We are Springtide Properties Limited! Established in 2016. We are accredited by the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK), Valuation and Estate Management (VEMS) Chapter. We are licensed by the Valuers Registration Board (VRB) and the Estate Agents Registration Board to offer valuation and estate agency services everywhere in Kenya. The two bodies are governed by the Valuers Act Cap 532 and the Estate Agents Act cap 533 of the Laws of Kenya.
Our team of expert Valuers, including the Chartered Valuations Surveyor with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) (UK), offer the highest quality service to our clients using internationally recognized standards. Additionally, we pride ourselves in reaching and empowering our immediate community through webinars offered to organized religious, professional and social groups, volunteering in land clinics which are held in the counties and help members of the general public to access our services probono. We also give talks to university students to prepare them for the job market.

Gloria Awinja
Managing Director. Our Managing Director Valuer Gloria Awinja has more than 14 years of valuation experience and has carried out valuations in 4 African countries. She is a Professional member of Women in Real Estate (WIRE). This is an organization of women that is dedicated to advancing the achievements of women in the built industry. She has also mentored numerous young ladies who are pursuing Real Estate courses or recently graduated with degrees in Real Estate. Gloria is a democratically elected member and sits in the Executive Committee and Council of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK) as the Editorial and Public Relations Chair. The vision of ISK is to be a globally recognized professional institution that provides leadership in surveying and land management.
Kariuki Waweru
Valuer. Our Resident Consultant in Valuation and Research, Valuer Kariuki Waweru - MRICS has more than 13 years of valuation experience and has carried out valuations in 6 African countries. He is a Chartered Valuations Surveyor with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) (UK). The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors is a global professional body promoting and enforcing the highest international standards in the valuation, management, and development of land, real estate, construction, and infrastructure. This sets us apart because we can offer the highest quality service to our clients using global Standards. In addition, it means that now our company can conduct valuations in all 53 commonwealth countries and all the countries in the greater East African region. In addition, he is the author of two Kenyan Real estate books, The ABC of real estate investments in Kenya and How to invest in real estate in Kenya. He also runs a very informative real estate blog www.kariukiwaweru.com where he writes about a variety of topics in real estate.
